Defense tops 9 Keys to Broncos beating Green Bay

We ask much of the Denver defense. We don't ask much of the Broncos' offense. Peyton Manning has thrown seven interceptions in his last three games and at least one in each of his first six. This would be a good time for a clean night.
4.The offense scores two touchdowns without help from its defense or special teams.
The field goals will come. The Broncos' offense has scored just nine touchdowns in six games, or 1.5 per. going to need at least two, plus multiple Brandon McManus field goals, to outpoint Rodgers and the Pack.
5.Win the punt return game
McManus and former University of Colorado kicker Mason Crosby should alternate kickoff touchbacks. The key will be how well the Broncos' Omar Bolden handles the first punt returns of his NFL career (providing he replaces the sore-shouldered Emmanuel Sanders as expected). The Packers have a good punt returner in Micah Hyde.
6.Find Clay Matthews III (and then block him)
This is the Packers' most dynamic player. Green Bay defensive coordinator Dom Capers moves Matthews around from middle linebacker in the base defense to pass rushing from three different spots along the defensive line on passing downs.
7.Run, Ronnie, run!
Ronnie Hillman will get his first start of the season at running back. In turn, Hillman is expected to make positive yardage on first and second downs, and break a big run or two.
8.Make 'em McManus
The Broncos' placekicker has made 29 of 30 kicks this year, including 7 of 8 from beyond 40 yards. He has won at least two games -- maybe up to five -- by outperforming the other team's kicker.
9.Remember, there's a fourth quarter
There have been many a game in the Mile High city where it looked bleak for the home team entering the fourth quarter, only for those beefy visiting linemen to start sucking air as the Broncos to mount a comeback.
