Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- Former South Carolina football star Marcus Lattimore is now a married man.
On Saturday, Lattimore wedded Miranda Bailey in Columbia. Bailey and Lattimore had been dating for several years. Reports say the two met when they were attending Byrnes High School. He proposed to Bailey earlier this year during a youth football camp.
Lattimore starred for the Gamecocks from 2010 to 2012. Former USC Coach Steve Spurrier had credited Lattimore as being one of the main reasons for the team's run that included three straight 11 win seasons and an SEC Eastern Division title.
According to reports, Lattimore had been added to new USC Head Coach Will Muschamp's football staff as an advisor. He can't officially be a coach for the team until after he finishes earning his degree from Carolina.
