Anybody who doesn't practice your religion is considered a heathen; therefore heathens are everybody else in "the other guy" terms. No wonder all wars are based on religious diferences. Now if everyone was an Atheist or Agnostic, there would be no wars because there would be no religious differences to fight over. And since the existence of any god has never been proven at any time in human history, it would seem only the Buddists have it figured out correctly. God is the invention of man to explain the unexplainable.
@Charles Horn The Nazis and Communists did not have a God as we usually define it. The antagonists in World War I all had the same God, save the Ottoman Empire. Iran and Iraq had the same God when they had a war in the 1980's. God was not a significant issue in the Viet Nam War
